We celebrate Akron LGBTQ Pride 2019
Join us at Hardesty Park (1615 W. Market Street) - Akron, Ohio
We respectfully remember the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall.
Entering its third year, the Akron Pride Festival is a day of fun and celebration in the name of equality. The festival is gearing up to bring a wide range of experiences for all ages. Attracting over 30,000 in its first two years, festival goers will again be connected to a vast array of local and out-of-state exhibitors comprised of corporate groups, community organizations, craft merchants, and more. A diverse lineup of food purveyors will be on site with tasty treats for festival patrons to enjoy throughout the day.
The day’s events are free and open to all. National entertainment headliners include award winning artists Deborah Cox and Steve Grand along with many awesome local acts!
The ever-popular Kids’ Zone returns from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Families will be able to enjoy the expanded area featuring bounce houses, a rock wall and trampoline bungee jump, kiddie ferris wheel, Woody and Jessie costume characters, and more. The Book Mobile will be on site again along with a number of hands-on and creative children’s activities.
