2026 APF Drag Battle Registration

Akron Pride Festival present Drag Battle
Saturday, May 30th, 2026
Akron Civic Theatre

• 12 contestants compete for the title of APF Drag Artist of the Year 2026 and $800 cash!
• Contestant registration fee is $25 (non-refundable).
• Contestants are required to reside within a 60 mile radius of Akron, OH.
• Contestant registration opens Friday, March 6, 2026 at Noon.
• Contestants will be judged on presentation and on-stage performance. There are only 12 spots available!
• The theme for Presentation is Colors of Pride. You will be allowed to choose your color, however, only we only allow 2 contestants per color. If you have a question regarding a color or flag color you would like to wear, please ask the Entertainment Chairs, Josh Parks & Maria Espinosa when your registration is confirmed.

*Note: Participation in the Drag Battle is NOT a prerequisite to perform at Akron Pride Festival. Registration for the Akron Pride Festival drag shows will be announced at a later date.
