PRIDE IN AKRON
The mission of the Akron Pride Festival is to unify and affirm the LGBTQ+ community and its allies by celebrating our diversity and promoting our likeness. We carry out this mission year-round through a variety of events and by actively supporting and giving back to our community.
AKRON PRIDE FESTIVAL 5K
The Akron Pride Festival 5K is part of the Akron Promise City Series of neighborhood runs and an official Akron Bicentennial event celebrating the city’s 200th anniversary.
Run Akron’s scenic streets and the historic Ohio & Erie Canal towpath alongside a diverse, inclusive crowd celebrating love and acceptance. Open to runners and walkers of all abilities, this event is a chance to make lasting memories and show your support for Akron’s LGBTQ+ community.
